Belgium's Jetairfly to take delivery of Arke Fly B767

Arke Fly (OR, Amsterdam) will transfer its last remaining B767 to sister carrier, Jetairfly (TB, Brussels National), in the coming weeks airline sources have informed ch-aviation. Once in-country, B767-300(ER) PH-OYJ (msn 29384) will become OO-JNL on the Belgian register.

Thomas Cook Group refutes claims of airline sell-off

Thomas Cook Airlines UK (MT, Manchester Int'l) parent, the Thomas Cook Group, has played down a report in the Sunday Times claiming it is considering selling off its quartet of carriers. In a statement to ch-aviation, the leisure group said that while it is pleased with the development and integration of its carriers, which include Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium, Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia, and Condor, it would consider partnering other firms or airlines.

Arke Fly to serve Dutch Antilles from Eindhoven

Arke Fly (OR, Amsterdam) is planning to begin direct Eindhoven to Aruba and Curacao flights on-board B787-8 aircraft from November 1. The leisure carrier says the flights will operate twice-weekly, on a year-round basis, targeting not only Dutch, but also Belgian and German vacationers intent on visiting the Dutch Antilles.

TUI Group to push ahead with airline consolidation plans

Thomson Airways (BY, London Luton) parent, TUI Group, is to push ahead with plans to consolidate its airline subsidiaries into one all-encompassing carrier. Jetairfly to operate ex-AeroMéxico B737-700 for ECAir

Jetairfly (TB, Brussels National) has won a wet-lease contract from ECAIR - Equatorial Congo Airlines (LC, Brazzaville) to operate at least one aircraft on ECAir's behalf according to Het Nieuwsblad en Gazet van Antwerpen. The first aircraft is likely a B737-700 (msn 33793), initially expected to be operated by PrivatAir (Switzerland) (PV, Geneva) on behalf of ECAir.
