    Skywings Asia Airlines (ZA, Phnom Penh) is set to resume MD-83 operations with the imminent arrival of XU-703 (msn 49631), formerly with Aviatrans K (KI, Kiev Zhulyany). Skyliner Aviation shows the aircraft was ferried from Amritsar to Kiev Zhulyany on March 15 ahead of delivery.

    A Korean-Cambodian joint venture, Sky Wings Asia operates two A320-200s with focus on the South Korean and Vietnamese markets.

    Aviatrans K (KI, Kiev Zhulyany) has been succeeded by Dart Airlines, AeroTransport reports. The news comes after Dart reportedly acquired Aviatrans' fleet of aircraft which includes one MD-82, UR-CJR (msn 53232), and two MD-83s, UR-CEL (msn 49390) & UR-CHL (msn 49395). Aviatrans K specializes in operating charter flights on behalf of tour operators.

    Aviatrans K (KI, Kiev Zhulyany) has wet-leased one of its four A320-200s, UR-DAK (c/n 662), to Small Planet Airlines (S5, Vilnius). UR-DAK will supplement the Lithuanian operator's fleet for the duration of the summer high season to meet anticipated demand.

    Al-Naser Airlines (6N, Baghdad) has reportedly begun wet-leasing an MD-82 belonging to Aviatrans K (KI, Kiev Zhulyany). The Iraqi carrier recently used the aircraft to launch new flights to Tbilisi and plans to use it for the duration of summer. Planned routes include Najaf to Tbilisi, Basrah to Tbilisi and Baghdad to Tbilisi. Al-Naser Airlines has the distinction of being the first private airline to operate in the history of Iraq.

    GreenJet Airlines (GRJ, Athens Int'l) is to take delivery of its first two ex-Air Macau (NX, Macau Int'l) A321-100s, SX-GRO (msn 557) and SX-GRN (msn 597), shortly. Both aircraft are currently parked in Hungary. GreenJet had originally planned to acquire an A320-200 (msn 407, ex N407BV) for its operations. That aircraft, however, was never registered and was subsequently transferred to Ukrainian operator, Aviatrans K (KI, Kiev Zhulyany), as UR-CKR.
