Saudia Cargo confirmed for four B777 freighters

Saudia (SV, Jeddah) will indeed take delivery of four B777-Fs between April and December of next year - its first of the type. According to Cargo Facts, the confirmed order was placed by the Saudi government and was previously listed as an “Unidentified Customer” by Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare).

Saudia (SV, Jeddah) has retired its last and only B747-200(F) HZ-AIU (msn 24359) from service with the aircraft currently parked in Jeddah and expected to be ferried to Dammam soon for permanent storage and potential part-out. Air Cargo Mongolia takes delivery of first aircraft, an A300-600R(F)

Air Cargo Mongolia (M5, Ulaanbaatar) has taken delivery of its first aircraft, an ex-myCargo Airlines (9T, Istanbul Atatürk) A300-600(F) freighter (c/n 743), to be re-registered in Mongolia as JU-8128. The Mongolian cargo start-up is planning to use the aircraft to operate cargo services from Ulaanbaatar to Frankfurt Int'l, Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok, Moscow Sheremetyevo, Novosibirsk, Seoul Incheon, Tianjin and Tokyo Narita.

Bulgaria's Air Scorpio set for first A300 freighter

Air Scorpio (SCU, Sofia) is set to take delivery of its first jet aircraft, an A300B4 freighter, LZ-RAC (c/n 105), formerly with myCargo Airlines (9T, Istanbul Atatürk) and currently parked at Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen. It has been speculated that the aircraft would in fact be operated by Air Max (RMX, Plovdiv) though this remains to be seen. Established in 1990, Air Scorpio's current fleet consists of a single Saab 340(F).
