Ryanair to restart domestic German flights this winter

Ryanair (FR, Dublin Int'l) is to re-enter the German domestic market later this year with the launch of 4x daily Cologne/Bonn-Berlin Schönefeld flights during the Winter 2015/16 season. Ryanair had previously dabbled in the local German market with flights from Berlin–Schönefeld to Bremen Neuenland, Dusseldorf Weeze and Frankfurt Hahn.

Thomas Cook Group refutes claims of airline sell-off

Thomas Cook Airlines UK (MT, Manchester Int'l) parent, the Thomas Cook Group, has played down a report in the Sunday Times claiming it is considering selling off its quartet of carriers.
