Air Berlin to add ex-Alitalia A320s, cut 200 more jobs in 2015

Air Berlin (AB, Berlin Tegel) will add 14 ex-Alitalia (AZ, Rome Fiumicino) A320-200s to its fleet as part of its plan to streamline its narrowbody fleet to just A320 family aircraft, ItaliaVola is reporting.

TUI Group to divest itself of Air Berlin

TUIfly (Germany) (X3, Hanover) parent, TUI Group, is set to divest itself from Air Berlin (AB, Berlin Tegel) when it disposes of its last remaining shares in the company later this year. A report in German business paper, WirtschaftsWoche, said TUI had reduced its stake in Air Berlin from 9.9% to less than 4% early last month.
