Emirates (EK, Dubai Int'l) has finalized an order with Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) for 150 B777Xs, valued at USD56billion at list prices. First announced as a commitment during last year's Dubai Airshow, the order consists of 115 B777-9Xs and 35 B777-8Xs with purchase rights for an additional 50 airplanes that, if exercised, could increase value to approximately USD75billion at list prices.

Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) is reportedly in talks with China's ICBC Leasing over the proposed onward placement of B747-8(F) freighters with Asiana Airlines (OZ, Seoul Incheon). According to sources who spoke to Bloomberg newswire on condition of anonymity, the deal could entail "four or five" freighters and is valued at USD1.8billion.
Asiana currently operates a fleet of ten B747-400(F)s on flights throughout South East Asia, Europe, Russia, and the United States.
