Tatarstan Air (Kazan International) and its sister carrier Ak Bars Aero (Bugulma) have presented a joint fleet expansion plan. Tatarstan Air plans to add A320-200s and additional A319-100s to replace its B737-400 and two B737-500s. It already operates two A319-100s and aims to operate a total of 10 A320 family aircraft by 2015. Ak Bars plans to increase its CRJ200 fleet from 13 to 35 aircraft in the same timeframe.
