Estonian Air (Tallinn Lennart Meri) will give up its network expansion plans and concentrate on point to point traffic from Tallinn Lennart Meri going forward again. Its supervisory council, controlled by the Estonian government controlling the majority of shares in Estonian Air, has replaced CEO Tero Taskila by former Skyways (Stockholm Arlanda) CEO Jan Palmér with immediate effect. It has also announced that as part of the strategy change, Estonian will terminate its feeder services from Tallinn to Helsinki Vantaa, Joensuu and Tartu on different dates between December 21 and January 27. It will also not launch previously announced new routes to Gothenburg Landvetter and London City and not resume flights to Riga and Tbilisi.
