Maastricht Airlines (Maastricht) has had to postpone its planned launch once more owing to further delays in the delivery of its planned fleet of two ex-airBaltic (BT, Riga) Fokker 50 fleet. Originally scheduled to have launched flights to Amsterdam Schiphol, Berlin Tegel and Munich from March 25, the Dutch operator was forced to defer its launch until May 1 owing unspecified issues with the first aircraft's delivery. However, on April 16, Maastricht Airlines once more informed the public that the May 1 launch was no longer tenable as neither of the F50s would be in service by that date. Hamid Kerboua, CEO Maastricht Airlines, went on to add that the company was doing "everything possible to secure aircraft in order to start operations as soon as possible."
