Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) is currently in talks with Ukraine's Privat Group, the owners of Aerosvit Airlines (Kyiv Boryspil), regarding the delivery of three out of the five E190s previously ordered by the now bankrupt Ukrainian carrier. It is believed that Privat Group would lease the aircraft out to Ukraine International Airlines (PS, Kyiv Boryspil), who also took delivery of AeroSvit's two other Embraer EMB-190s, in addition to other aircraft, when Aerosvit suspended short and medium-haul operations in late 2012/early 2013 before leaving the long-haul market shortly thereafter. The two EMB-190s were originally delivered to AeroSvit in 2012 but operated by sister airline, Dniproavia (Dnipro). One of the aircraft (UR-EMA, c/n 19000494) now is already operated by UIA itself, the second aircraft UR-DSB (c/n 19000501) is still operated by Dniproavia on behalf of UIA.
