Sunrise Airlines (Florida) (Sarasota/Bradenton) is a planned airline aimed at serving Sarasota to Philadelphia International, Indianapolis International, Baltimore International, Detroit Metropolitan, Boston, Pittsburgh International, Chicago Midway and New York Newark using a fleet of four B737-400s. Owned by husband and wife team, Stephen and Hannah Miller, the carrier plans to launch with USD30million in capital though initial concerns over the project's viability have arisen following a 38% decline in traffic out of Sarasota over the last six years which has seen United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare) and AirTran Airways (Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson) abandon the airport. Stephen Miller is the former Chief Executive Officer of failed long-haul low-cost carrier Oasis Hong Kong Airlines (Hong Kong International).
