LAN Argentina (Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) is set to remain put at Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery after an Argentine judge, Liliana Heiland, ruled that the Argentine airports authority (Organismo Regulador del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos - ORSNA) must not interfere or inhibit LAN's operations at the airport. ORSNA had issued a 10-day eviction notice to the airline in August. La Nación reports that the directive is valid for 6 months or until a resolution of the underlying issues between the two entities; which ever occurs first. Buenos Aires had hinted that a desire for reciprocity in Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR, Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) being granted domestic traffic rights in both Chile and Brazil would likely resolve the stand off.
