SkyWest Airlines (OO, Salt Lake City) will start operating three more CRJ700 regional jets on behalf of its smallest customer Alaska Airlines (AS, Seattle Tacoma International) for which it currently already operates seven aircraft of the type. It has recently taken delivery of three ex-Horizon Air (QX, Seattle Tacoma International) aircraft that have returned from a dry-lease contract to South African Express (EXY, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo). Alaska will use the aircraft to launch new routes from November already announced this summer linking Seattle Tacoma International with Colorado Springs, Hayden and Omaha Eppley, San Diego International with Boise and Portland International with Tucson International.
