PAWA Dominicana (Santo Domingo Las Américas) will now resume operations in either late January or early February 2014 using its original fleet of two DC-9-30s and a MD-82. In addition, four more MD-83s are set to join the airline during the first half of the year. According to sources privy to the start-up's operations, the following destinations will be served out of Santo Domingo Las Américas: Curacao, Valencia Arturo Michelena International, Aruba, Caracas Simón Bolivar, Miami International, Paramaribo International, St. Maarten, and Punta Cana. New York JFK flights will commence during the second half of 2014 using a B767-300(ER) operated by Venezuela's sister carrier SBA Airlines (Caracas Simón Bolivar).
