BoA - Boliviana de Aviación (OB, La Paz El Alto) is set to acquire four MA-60s from Xian Aircraft Company (Xi'an Yanliang) with the first of the turboprops due for delivery in the early half of next year. Speaking during the inauguration of flights to Trinidad Jorge Heinrich Arauz, Boliviana de Aviación's CEO, Ronald Caso, said that a total of USD16million would be spent on acquiring the new aircraft as well as on training. The aircraft will be deployed on domestic services, he added. BoA is currently an exclusive Boeing (BOE, Washington National) operator with nine B737-300s, a B737-500 and a B767-200(ER) wet-leased from Omni Air International (OY, Tulsa International).
