Asiana Airlines (OZ, Seoul Incheon) will terminate an existing codeshare agreement with US Airways (Phoenix Sky Harbor) effective March 30, 2014. Among the Asiana-operated routes affected are from Seoul Incheon to: Fukuoka, Osaka Kansai, Nagoya Chubu, Okinawa Naha, Shizuoka in Japan and Los Angeles International, San Francisco, Seattle Tacoma International, Chicago O'Hare, New York JFK and Honolulu in the United States.
Among the US Airways-operated flights affected are from Los Angeles to: Charlotte International, Phoenix Sky Harbor, and Philadelphia International. From San Francisco to: Charlotte, Phoenix, and Philadelphia. From Seattle Tacoma International to: Charlotte, Phoenix, and Philadelphia. From Chicago to Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson, Orlando International, Indianapolis International, Columbus John Glenn, OH, Cleveland Hopkins, and Houston Intercontinental.
Owing to its merger agreement with American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth), US Airways will on March 30 leave Star Alliance, of which Asiana is a member, to join Oneworld on March 31.
