BQB Líneas Aéreas (Punta del Este) has taken delivery of its first of three A319-100s due between now and May of this year. The aircraft, CX-SAN (cn 1703), was ferried from Bordeaux Mérignac where it had been in storage for previous operator, TAM Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Congonhas).
The Uruguayan carrier operates one wet-leased A320-200 and four ATR72-500s to 13 destinations in 5 countries scattered throughout South America.
