Jet Time (2006) (Copenhagen Kastrup) has secured its Finnish Air Operators Certificate (AOC) from Finland's civil aviation authority (TRAFI). The permit will thereby allow Jet Time Finland (Helsinki Vantaa) to operate flights between Finland and Turkey pending permission from the Turkish authorities.

Turkey requires airlines that operate into its airports to possess an AOC from the country of the flight's origin.

According to check-in.dk, the airline has already re-registered one of its seven B737-700s, OY-JTV (msn 28015), as OH-JTV in preparation for Jet Time Finland's maiden flight - a charter - from Helsinki Vantaa to Antalya.

Klaus Ren, Jet Time's managing director, said his airline had already opened an office in Helsinki.
