Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) has transferred an undisclosed number of PAL Express (2P, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) Dash 8-400s to its fledgling Cambodian start-up, Cambodia Airlines (Phnom Penh). In its report, the PhilippineAirSpace blog said the aircraft had become available following the termination of PAL Express's distributed inter-island hub network.

A joint venture between the Royal Group of Cambodia and San Miguel Corporation of the Philippines, Cambodia Airlines' launch has repeatedly stalled on the back of funding problems as well as the unstable socio-political scene in Cambodia.
