Asiana Airlines (OZ, Seoul Incheon) has outlined its initial A380-800 routes ahead of the delivery of its first of the type in the second quarter of this year. In a statement, the airline announced that the twindeck jet will initially be deployed on flights from Seoul Incheon to Tokyo Narita and Hong Kong International effective June 13 with Osaka Kansai and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to follow on July 24.

Longhaul services to Los Angeles International will début on August 15.

The aircraft are configured with 12 First Class, 66 Business Class and 417 Economy class seats with Suites on the Upper Deck.

Asiana Airlines will become the twelfth operator of the A380 and the second in South Korea after local rival, Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon). It currently has six of the type on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac).
