Wizz Air Ukraine (Kyiv Igor Sikorsky) has returned one of its four A320-200s, UR-WUD (cn 5660), to parent Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) as demand for travel to Ukraine continues to decline.
As a result of the reduced capacity, Wizz Air Ukraine's chairman Ákos Bús said the LCC will base two aircraft at Kyiv Igor Sikorsky and the other at Lviv in preparation for the upcoming summer season.
Ukraine is currently in the throes of severe civil unrest following the recent annexation of the Crimean peninsula by Russia.
