Kulula Air (Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) and Kenya Airways (KQ, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta) have signed a codeshare agreement which will see Kenya Airways placing its code (KQ) on all kulula's domestic South African routes - Cape Town International, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo, Durban King Shaka, East London and George - while the South African LCC will place its "MN" flight code on Kenya Airways services between Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta and Johannesburg O.R. Tambo.

Stuart Cochrane, Executive Manager Business Process for kulula.com said: “The code share agreement with Kenya Airways is an extension of the interline agreement we entered into in 2013 and is in line with kulula’s medium-to-long term strategy to grow our distribution footprint in Africa in a sustainable manner whilst at the same time providing more choice for our customers.”

Kulula is a sister carrier to Comair (South Africa) (CAW, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo), operator of a British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) franchise.
