Monarch Airlines (1968) (London Luton) officially retired the A300-600R from its fleet on 13 April. Local news reports state that having completed its last flight from London Gatwick to Birmingham, GB, G-OJMR (cn 605) is now destined to be scrapped in Tupelo, Mississippi.
The Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) passenger jet was the last of its type to operate in Europe.
