Cronos Airlines (C8, Malabo) will deploy its first B737-400, EC-LTC (msn 25439), into service later this month. Once in Central Africa, the twinjet, wet-leased from Spain's Calima Aviación (Gran Canaria), will join the Equatoguinean carrier's other aircraft which include an A320 wet-leased from SmartLynx Airlines (6Y, Riga) and a BAe 146-200.
Cronos operates daily domestic flights between Malabo and Bata as well as weekly regional flights to Cotonou Cadjehoun and Douala. Services to Port Harcourt Awolowo and Abuja are also planned.
