GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas) and partners Air France (AF, Paris CDG) and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol) have been given the greenlight by the Brazilian antitrust regulator (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Economica - CADE) to proceed with their exclusive long term strategic partnership announced in February of this year.

Under the terms of the agreement, Air France-KLM will invest USD100million in the Brazilian carrier of which USD52million will secure a 1.5% stake in GOL while the remaining USD48million will go towards enhancing the effectiveness of their strategic commercial partnership.

Exclusive codesharing between Air France-KLM and Gol will be extended to flights operated by Air France and KLM between Europe and Brazil as well as to intranational Brazilian flights operated by Gol.
