Cebu Pacific Air (5J, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) will become the first scheduled operator to serve Tandag, the capital city of the province of Surigao del Sur, when it launches a 3x weekly ATR72-500 service to its hub, Cebu, on June 30.
The route was last served by the now defunct Mid-Sea Express (Cebu).
Tandag in Surigao del Sur is the gateway to the Enchanted River, the Britania Group of Islands, Cagwait Beach, Tinuy-an Falls and the surfing spot of Lanuza.
