Dynamic Airways (Greensboro Piedmont Triad International) will launch 4x weekly flights connecting New York JFK with Georgetown Cheddi Jagan, Guyana beginning June 26. Operations are on-board a B767-200(ER).

“We have been approached by the Guyanese Government to establish year around service between New York [and] Guyana and we’ve graciously accepted their invitation to support their economic growth. We are in process of hiring 50 flight attendants based in Georgetown, while our operation had direct and indirect positive impact on over one hundred jobs. Plans to operate Toronto Pearson to Guyana service are well underway,” Thomas Johnson, VP Business Development at Dynamic Airways, said.

As it currently stands, Dynamic is the only US carrier to service the route, which has attracted much interest from other Caribbean airlines. Earlier this year, the US Department of Transportation rejected seventh-freedom applications from Caribbean Airlines (BW, Port of Spain) and Fly Jamaica Airways (Kingston Norman Manley) to service the route.
