Air Croatia (Zagreb Franjo Tuđman) has announced it has postponed its planned launch date from June 30, to Summer 2015 citing poor demand among other reasons. The start-up had planned to offer flights connecting Zagreb Franjo Tuđman, Split and Zadar with Gothenburg Landvetter using an A319-100 leased from CSA Czech Airlines (OK, Prague Václav Havel).

“Those flights have been postponed since May due to low amount of bookings and some technical problems connecting to some of the major search engines”, Air Croatia's marketing manager Robert Peric has told ch-aviation.

Air Croatia is the latest casualty in the country's start-up wars. Last week, fellow start-up, Dalmatian (Split), announced it was suspending operations indefinitely after a strategic investor pulled out of the project at the final moment.
