SCAT Airlines (DV, Shymkent) has added a first B737 NextGen aircraft to its fleet following the arrival of an ex-Air Italy (2005) (Milan Malpensa) B737-700, LY-AZV (msn 37233), in Shymkent on June 30. The B737 is on lease from the Russian state transport leasing company (Gosudarstvennaya Transportnaya Lizingovaya Kompaniya - GTLK).

Until now, the Kazakh regional airline had operated a fleet of three B737-300s, three B737-500s, four B757-200s, six CRJ200s and one B767-300(ER) on flights throughout the country as well as to Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, China and Armenia. Scat also operates a number of An-24 turboprops.
