SkyWork Airlines (Bern) is planning to phase out its last remaining Dash 8-400 - HB-JGA (cn 4198) - from its fleet as soon as possible. Austrian Aviation Net reports the aircraft is destined for LGW - Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (Dortmund) where it will be used for flights on behalf of Air Berlin (1991) (Berlin Tegel).

Despite strong charter market demand for the turboprop, Skywork's new CEO, Martin Inäbnit, has insisted that his airline is a scheduled operator and not a charter specialist.

As it stands, the departure of the Q400 will leave the Swiss carrier with a fleet of five Do328-100s used on flights to Austria, Croatia, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom.
