flybe. (2002) (Exeter) has announced it will begin operating a 12x weekly Aberdeen Dyce to London City service effective October 27. The route, which will operate on-board a Dash 8-400, will replace that of British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) which will be terminated on October 26.
The news was greeted with praise by British Prime Minister, David Cameron: "I welcome today’s announcement that Flybe. will introduce daily flights from Aberdeen to London City later this year — a vital route that helps support the north-south economy."
