Camair-Co (QC, Douala) has resumed regular operations following the return of one of its two B737-700s, TJ-QCB (msn 33920), from Paris CDG where it had been impounded by lessor, the Aviation Capital Group (ACG), in June.

The Cameroonian carrier said in a statement that the dispute with ACG had been settled following a payment of USD1.4million in outstanding fees.

In its filing with a British court in September last year, ACG claimed that Camair-Co's failure to pay basic rent, additional rent and default interest had prejudiced it of a total of USD2.9million

The aircraft was seized on its arrival at Paris CDG on June 7.

Camair-Co operates another B737-700 leased from ACG alongside a B767-300(ER).
