Air Seychelles (HM, Mahé) is set to take delivery of its first A320-200 on wet-lease from parent carrier, Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi International), later this year. The carrier's General Manager Corporate Affairs, Alan Renaud, informed ch-aviation that the twinjet would initially be deployed on flights to Abu Dhabi International, Mauritius and, subject to regulatory approval, Mumbai International and Antananarivo.

At present, the airline operates two A330-200s on regional and international flights as well as three DHC-6s (now all -400s) and a converted Shorts 360 freighter used on inter-island passenger and cargo flights.
