Aeroméxico (AM, México City International) will transition the intermediary stop on its 4x weekly México City International to Tokyo Narita service from Tijuana to Monterrey Mariano Escobedo with effect from September. The flight currently operates on-board a B787-8.
Flights from México City to Asia cannot be operated non-stop due to payload restrictions. The Shanghai Pudong service operated twice weekly with a B777-200(ER) will continue to operate via Tijuana for the time being.
