Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) has announced that an undisclosed customer placed an order for 45 A320 Family aircraft during the month of July. According to its official breakdown, the client ordered seventeen A320ceo along with twenty-one A320neo and seven A321neo.

The European aircraft manufacturer states that last month's Farnborough International Airshow 2014 saw 130 firm orders valued at USD38.4billion at list price value.

Elsewhere, AirAsia (AK, Kuala Lumpur International) and the parent holding firm of LAN Airlines (Santiago de Chile) and TAM Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Congonhas), LATAM Airlines Group, both modified existing orders for A320ceo Family aircraft. The Malaysian LCC converted 23 A320ceo into A320neo with the South Americans converting 12. Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith) also cancelled five A320s.
