Thai Airways International (TG, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) phased out its A300-600R fleet following a ceremony held at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi on July 31. Research shows the type's last flights was operated by HS-TAZ (cn 787) between Khon Kaen and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi.

Thai was a prolific operator of the A300 ordering a total of 34 from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) between 1977 and 1998. Among the variants operated were thirteen A300B4s, six A300-600s and fifteen A300-600Rs.

As it stands, the last known remaining operators of the passenger version of the A300-600 are: Mahan Air (W5, Tehran Mehrabad), Kuwait Airways (KU, Kuwait), Qeshm Airlines (QB, Tehran Mehrabad), IranAir (IR, Tehran Mehrabad), Meraj Air (MRJ, Tehran Mehrabad), and Sudan Airways (SD, Khartoum).
