PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International) has taken delivery of an A320-200, JY-JAT (cn 2061), on a short term wet-lease contract from Jordan Aviation (R5, Amman Queen Alia). According to sources in the Pakistani capital, the lease will run until PIA receives its third A320, AP-BLD (cn 2274), in September.
AP-BLD is part of a trio of aircraft on lease from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) that includes AP-BLB (cn 2155) and AP-BLC (cn 2212). It is currently undergoing a D-check at Shanghai Pudong, China ahead of its delivery to PIA.
