Hai Au Aviation (HAI, Hanoi Noi Bai International) has taken redelivery of its first two Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan 208B-EXs following their arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai International late last week. The aircraft, part of an order for three, had undergone float modification with Wipaire in the United States.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hai Au's general director, Luong Hoai Nam, said the two aircraft - N30466 (cn 208B5121) and N3051H (cn 208B5122) - will be used on regulatory approval flights with the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) ahead of their expected entry into commercial service later next month.
Luong said the start-up's maiden flight will be from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay with additional services from Ho Chi Minh City to other tourist destinations like Thanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Can Tho, An Giang, Con Dao, and Phu Quoc to roll out with the arrival of the third aircraft in December this year.
