Dniproavia (Dnipro) has cancelled four routes from areas in Ukraine currently affected by the ongoing fighting between Ukrainian security forces and Pro-Russian separatists.

World Airline News states the following flights from Kharkiv will be terminated later this week: Yerevan (September 4); Baku Heydar Aliev International (September 6); Tbilisi (September 7). Flights from Odesa to Batumi in Georgia are also slated to end on September 5.

"Changing the route of the flight due to the closure of certain areas of airspace led to a significant increase in fuel consumption, the constant fluctuation of the dollar in the last month lowered the purchasing power of the passengers and confidence in the future," the airline said in a statement adding that these factors collectively had led to the flights' unprofitability.
