Syphax Airlines (Sfax) has announced it will scale back its weekly Tunis to Montréal Trudeau A330-200 service to a seasonal flight. Responding to Tunisian press reports that claimed the airline would abandon the service outright owing to poor loads, the carrier said it had no intention of terminating the route, launched earlier this year in April.

It added that it is currently in talks with other airlines concerning possible cooperation agreements in particular codeshare agreements for the route's low season.

Using a fleet of two A319-100s and an A330-200, the Tunisian airline operates a largely European route network with plans to open up routes to China later next year.
