Proflight Zambia (P0, Lusaka) will introduce its first CRJ200 into its fleet later this month as it prepares to mark Zambia’s 50th anniversary of independence from Great Britain. The aircraft is scheduled to arrive on September 29 and will operate throughout the month of October primarily on the airline's mainstay Lusaka to Ndola International route. Where demand dictates, it will also deploy the type on its Solwezi, Mfuwe, and Livingstone routes.

With the return of its sole B737-200Adv to lessor Star Air (South Africa) (BRH, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) earlier this year, the Zambian carrier has been left with a fleet of three Jetstream 41s, four Jetstream 32s and several smaller turboprop aircraft.
