GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas) is considering buying the E195-E2 Regional Jet from Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) Bloomberg newswire has said. The arrival of the aircraft, set to enter commercial service from 2019 onwards, would mark the first new type in Gol's fleet since it retired its fleet of B767-200(ER)s and B767-300(ER)s earlier this decade.

The LCC currently operates a homogenous Boeing (BOE, Washington National) fleet of thirty-three B737-700s, and ninety-seven B737-800s on flights throughout Brazil, South America, the Caribbean, and the United States.
