LAN Airlines (Santiago de Chile) has outlined plans to expand its international network covering North America and Europe over the course of 2015. In a statement, parent LATAM Airlines Group said the Chilean carrier would, by the end of next year, begin a daily Santiago de Chile to Milan Malpensa via São Paulo Guarulhos on-board an B787-8. LATAM currently serves Milan from Sao Paulo under its TAM Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Congonhas) brand.

TAM meanwhile, will offer new flights to Cancún, Mexico, by year-end to be followed by flights to Barcelona El Prat, as well as Toronto Pearson via New York JFK from Sao Paulo in 2015. The Brazilian carrier will also offer a Brasília Juscelino Kubitschek International to Orlando International service.
