COMAC (Shanghai Pudong) will deliver its first commercially-certified ARJ21-700, B-938L (cn 105), to Chengdu Airlines (EU, Chengdu Shuangliu) before the end of the year with the aircraft set to enter service early next year.
Chengdu Airlines general manager Sui Mingguang told China's WCARN aviation news that the aircraft's maiden flight will be either Chengdu Shuangliu to Shanghai Pudong or Chengdu to Beijing Capital.
The airline, which has thirty of the type on order, will take delivery of another five ARJ21s in 2015.
COMAC has recorded 258 orders for the ARJ21 aircraft from both home and abroad.
