Small Planet Airlines Polska (Warsaw Chopin) will base two A320-200s in Siem Reap, Cambodia with effect from November onwards as part of an agreement with Cambodian carrier, Skywings Asia Airlines (Phnom Penh). Under the terms of the deal, set to run until March next year, the two aircraft, SP-HAE (msn 883) and SP-HAF (msn 914) will be used on flights between Siem Reap, Cambodia and cities in China and South Korea.

“For our company, this is a large and ambitious project with scheduled flights to be carried out for a period of four months, which comes close to the length of the summer season in Europe,” Vytautas Kaikaris, the CEO of Small Planet Airlines, said.

Last year, the Lithuanian ACMI specialist operated a similar agreement with Bhutan Airlines (B3, Paro) offering flights between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Paro.

Small Planet Airlines holds air operator certificates in Poland and Lithuania, and operates a fleet of 11 aircraft in the UK, Polish, Lithuanian and Italian markets.
