Blue Panorama Airlines (Rome Fiumicino) has secured its permanent Air Operators Certificate (AOC) from Italy's civil aviation authority (l'Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile - ENAC). Prior to its issuance, the Italian leisure carrier had operated on finite, temporary permits.

"We believe the faith in our abilities ENAC showed when it issued us our new permanent AOC, is a tangible sign of the great lengths we have gone to in order to ensure the continued success of our airline," Blue Panorama's founder, Franco Pecci, told the ItaliaVola flight blog.

Alongside its Blu Express (Rome Fiumicino) subsidiary, Blue Panorama operates three B737-300s, one B737-400, one B737-500, and three B767-300(ER)s on flights to Albania, Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, Russia, and the Dominican Republic.
