Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (AD, São Paulo Viracopos) has withdrawn its last five remaining E175s from revenue service and put them up for sale. Airline sources who spoke to ch-aviation said three of the aircraft, PP-PJA (cn 17000272), PP-PJB (cn 17000277), and PP-PJC (cn 17000287) have now been parked at Porto Alegre International while the other two, PP-PJE (cn 17000291) and PP-PJF (cn 17000309), are parked at Rio de Janeiro International.

The carrier is also growing its freighter fleet with its current fleet of three ex-TRIP Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Viracopos) ATR72-500(F)s - PP-PTL (cn 773), PP-PTN (cn 832), and PP-PTO (cn 837) - to be phased out in favour of three other similar machines namely: PP-PTR (cn 785), PP-PTU (cn 891), and PP-PTT (cn 846). Azul is the only carrier currently operating ATR72-500s in a cargo configuration.
