Enter Air (E4, Warsaw Chopin) has announced it has secured its new European Air Operators Certificate (AOC) from the Polish civil aviation authority (Urzędu Lotnictwa Cywilnego - ULC) ahead of the October 28 deadline.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has mandated all European carriers to renew their AOCs in line with regulation (EU) No 965/2012 of October 5, 2012.

Among the new features of the certification is the introduction of a mandatory Safety Management System (SMS) by which each operator must demonstrate a robust safety culture and a risk based approach to all aspects of aircraft operations.

A charter airline, Enter Air operates eight B737-400s and six B737-800s on services on behalf of Polish tour operators.
