Vostok Airlines (Khabarovsk Novy) is planning to dispose of some of its fleet of aircraft in order to fund the expansion and upgrade of its premises at Khabarovsk Novy airport's domestic terminal, Vladimir Terentyev, the UTair (UT, Khanty-Mansiysk) subsidiary's deputy managing director, told the Trend news agency.

Vostok Airlines intends to then lease out its space as a means of diversifying its income. Among the types the carrier operates are An-28s, An-38s, and Mil Helicopters, on scheduled and charter passenger services, freight services, air ambulance, air patrol, fire fighting, and oil rig support operations.
