Sun-Air (EZ, Billund) is planning to commence offering Aalborg, Denmark to Stavanger, Norway flights early next year Danish aviation portal check-in.dk has reported. The decision to start the route came after fellow operator, DAT - Danish Air Transport (Kolding), decided to abandon the route last week citing a lack of demand.

"The exact time has not yet been determined, but it will probably be at the end of January. One thing that is certain, however, is that we are going to do it," Sun-Air's commercial director, Kristian Tvergaard, said.

The British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) affiliate currently serves Oslo Gardermoen from Aalborg using a combination of Jetstream 31s and Do328-300 equipment.
