Uzbekistan Airways (HY, Tashkent International) has taken re-delivery of its first B767-300F, UK-67001 (cn 28370) from Singapore Seletar following its conversion from one of its nine B767-300(ER)s. According to the Press and Information Agency of Uzbekistan, a second of the type is expected for re-delivery early next month.

With the arrival of the new freighters, Uzbekistan Airways expects to retire its two A300-600(F)s, UK-31004 (cn 717) and UK-31005 (cn 722). The added capacity will also allow the carrier to open up additional cargo routes from Tashkent International to Shanghai Pudong, Hong Kong International, and Guangzhou.
